I think that is a good idea. I’ll try to monitor that forum myself and will try to answer quickly. Of course you can also help out as some of you guys have used the forum more than myself!

There are some upgrades coming up in the near future which bring in some new features like “tagging” or basically a better way to categorize things. A better text editor than this one. Oh and yeah I’ll be able to easily modify the colors of the site, so we’ll try to go back to the green that everyone loves and is used to!

I’ll create the new forum in this section.

As Unclesom proved… an extra two minutes spent on searching can have many good benefits:

1) You don’t have to wait for someone to respond to your request. You get it instantly!!
2) It also benefits all the members that respond to requests. In stead of spending time searching on your behalf, they can be responding to other legitimate requests.
3) Our system isn’t flooded with duplicate requests just because you didn’t take the time to search.

See all these benefits, if everyone can search before posting a request. 🙂

I’ve created a new forum for Punjabi song and translations requests. Please use that to post your request.

I’m pretty sure we have punjabi’s in our community here and will be more than happy to translate or provide song lyrics.

It will benefit EVERYONE if you post the response to this request here. There is no need to translate for one specific person. The next person that needs the translation will unnecessarily have to post another request.

If you ever need a translation that is already available, you would hate to see that someone else just privately posted the translation.

all popups should be gone. if you can delete / clean your computer then next time you visit you should not get any cookies. you may have to get the microsoft anti-spyware (defender) to remove it completely. I’ve removed all ad code that generated the popups. That advertiser is no longer publishing ads on our website.

Hi Boo,
I turned off the auto delete feature. Any posts in the Say Something will NOT be deleted. You can monitor the posts and if you feel it is old then feel free to delete or archive it.

Yes, even after filtering such ad campaigns, they are still showing. I’ve already complained to the ad network and so you should see less of those types of ads.

Regarding pop-ups, they should also tame them down.

Let me know if you guys don’t see the changes and continue to see such things. I can raise our complaints to next level.

If BOTH of you took a little bit of time and searched here, you would’ve have found translations/lyrics for this request. az2006, your request was unnecessary since the lryics have been provided adn translated right here on this site. the search feature is not for “display”, it really does have some function, and all you have to do is type and hit the “Enter” key on your keyboard. Its really that simple 🙂

Ximster, you could have also done the same instead of having to spend all that time browsing other sites and finding them and pasting them here. Use some THOUGHT process and search for the lyrics/translations you need first and if you dn’t find it here, then feel free to use help from other sites.

Keep this simple yet powerful tip in mind. Search is your friend. 🙂

I can restore it if they are very important, but since they weren’t viewed it might be easier just to create new threads.

Its an automated process that runs and cleans up the Say Something area. After 14 days or so if a thread has not even been viewed (not posted or replied but viewed) the system deletes the thread. So probably the thread in question hadn’t been even viewed in the past 14 days and so it was removed. If you believe that it was at least viewed by someone then let me know.

I like this feature because it gives the users the very minimum requirement. Meaning, as long as a post or thread is being read (viewed) by someone it won’t be deleted.

Please make a new post for a new song request. Do not use the same post. First search for the song as it may have been already translated. If it is not available then make a request.

Please use the search feature before posting your request. Search is very easy to use and saves you on your typing

Search: This cool feature allows you to find content that already exists in the website. ALL you have to do is type in some keyword, in your case, ‘zeher’ and you get a listing of all posts that have the keyword in it. Very simple, no brainer stuff. Use that and you will get your lyrics and translations faster than you think. If there is nothing in our posts then and only then you should put in a request. Search feature which has been on the internet since the birth of the “commercial” internet is a very handy feature that you should take advantage of.

Thanks for the suggestion, and I think it is a good idea. Let me see if it is possible to do. You can use the subscription feature that will email you when your posts receives replies, you might want to see if that also works for you.
