Person above me you're right as well. For each Ayah (verse) in the Quraan, there is a story behind it. Why this ayah was revealed and so forth. Therefore just reading the Quraan..will not grant u the complete picture about Islam. The Life of Prophet Muhammad is the perfect life indeed. Starts from his great manners and way of life as a Husband, friend, and father to the great way he dealt with things when it came to Islam. I Love you oh Rasulullah!

Are you saying that one can say “I believe in God because I have nothing to lose”? Is that really belief? It's interesting you say this though… pretty thought provoking. And yet still, if He does exist and 'we' don’t believe in him- yes we lose everything, but we lose everything that has no value, and gain everything that does- Belief itself. Now gaining and losing makes no difference.

i think u r thinking wayyy tooo much from such a simple quote. thats the problem with people, we like to make things more complicated when its actually very simple and straight forward. and again, back to my earlier argument…we only like things when it goes our way.

But you see boo Ji, when it comes to reading the Quraan, reading the translation won't suffice even if one reads it all. Even we, the Muslims, cannot just go and give out an 'opinion' because we've read the whole Quraan. That's why attend Islamic school. Many ppl do read Islam as any other religion and most of them think it's the perfect thing for them. But as you said, an opinion is an opinion and everyone has a right to have one.

yes AM RANI I know that. I know that both sides invovled in the war are victims. But the ppl in general..what do they say. They say that Arabs are terrorists just because some person came and bombed a building.. OhmyAllah ninja ji! I had an amazing time that day! It was fun! Even though we lost a whole buncha kids a thousand times! I won't forget that Eid, it was awesome! You made it even more awesome. Inshallah we'll get to do somehting like that again.

In fact, the Masjid we go to is holding a picnic thing in the park somewhere by Hayati's house…me wants to go! lol. I don't think i'm going tho…

LOL, it was fun indeed. Kids we didn't even know started joining our group and got me all confused . I won't forget that eid either. It was a blast!
