    Since I cannot ask about what your friend is saying…what are you reading person above me? Would it be something I want to read as well? Oh…do you wish to be left alone, person above me so you could read and listen to your friend?

    Aww…I'm having some strange Macadamia Nut flavored Coffee that a friend dropped by at the Office and listening to Billy Joel's 'She's Always A Woman To Me.' What about you person above me (besides being sorta headacheyyy)?

    '…Thoughts of you are tattooed on my mind, let me show you
    And I can't stop thinking about you…'

    Wow! Here is a one by Rachel Yamagata that has become a favorite for its lyrics though not for its melody:

    I'll Find A Way”

    I'll find a way to see you again
    I'll find a way to see you again

    I used to think that anything I'd do
    Wouldn't matter at all anyway
    But now I find that when it comes to you
    I'm the winner of cards I can't play
    Wait for me, wait for me
    Darling, I need you desperately, desperately here

    And I'll find a way to see you again
    And I'll find a way to see you again

    The rain is like an orchestra to me
    Little gifts from above meant to say
    Girl, you falling at his feet
    Isn't lovely or stunning today
    Wait with me, wait with me
    I'm alive when you're here with me, here with me, stay

    And I'll find a way to see you again
    And I'll find a way to see you again

    Why do the street lamps die
    When you're passing by
    Like a hand that won't stay on my shoulder tonight
    If you held me close, would you laugh it away
    Would you dare the glance that I steal to stay

    And I'll find a way to see you again
    Yes, I'll find a way to see you again
    I'll find a way, a way, a way to see you again
    I'll find a way, a way, a way to see you again
    I'll find a way, a way, a way to see you again
    The rain will bring, the rain will bring, the rain will bring, bring, bring me down
    The rain will bring, the rain will bring, the rain will bring, bring, bring me down
    The rain will bring, the rain will bring, the rain will bring, bring, bring me down

    'Sj: Nope Kisses for a random stranger…I dont think so buddy..btw u reaaaaallly need to get yourself a woman and quick…yr nerves seeems on edge…'

    Nerves are just fine. A woman? Erm, buddy, hopefully not the wrong one, for that would definitely put my nerves so on an edge that one could pound out Rachmaninov's 2nd Movement from his Piano Concerto 1 or elicit some other syncopated music and jar the nerves of everyone around. Lmao.

    '…anything u did/said/thought today that brought a smile to your face…??'

    What Ness shared above. Beautifully said.

    To a city nearby for a work-related meeting that lasted less than an hour. Quick and disastrous lunch at a God Only Knows-Latino theme restaurant lasted even less. But, travel took much longer Lol. These same day return trips are going to be the death of me soon. As for the umbrella, it's the kind one would not dare open -inside or outside- the house. It's pinkish…and I personally prefer blue.

    From Rabindranath Tagore and his much celebrated Gitanjali…some of my favorite lines:

    The Journey

    The morning sea of silence broke into ripples of bird songs;
    and the flowers were all merry by the roadside;
    and the wealth of gold was scattered through the rift of the clouds
    while we busily went on our way and paid no heed.

    We sang no glad songs nor played;
    we went not to the village for barter;
    we spoke not a word nor smiled;
    we lingered not on the way.
    We quickened our pace more and more as the time sped by.

    The sun rose to the mid sky and doves cooed in the shade.
    Withered leaves danced and whirled in the hot air of noon.

    The shepherd boy drowsed and dreamed in the shadow of the banyan tree,
    and I laid myself down by the water
    and stretched my tired limbs on the grass.

    My companions laughed at me in scorn;
    they held their heads high and hurried on;
    they never looked back nor rested;
    they vanished in the distant blue haze.

    They crossed many meadows and hills,
    and passed through strange, far-away countries.

    All honor to you, heroic host of the interminable path!

    Mockery and reproach pricked me to rise,
    but found no response in me.

    I gave myself up for lost
    in the depth of a glad humiliation

    -in the shadow of a dim delight.

    The repose of the sun-embroidered green gloom
    slowly spread over my heart.

    I forgot for what I had traveled,
    and I surrendered my mind without struggle
    to the maze of shadows and songs.

    At last, when I woke from my slumber and opened my eyes,
    I saw thee standing by me, flooding my sleep with thy smile.

    How I had feared that the path was long and wearisome,
    and the struggle to reach thee was hard!

    I am beginning to dislike airports and everything about them except that I love to fly. My flight was 1.45 Hours, but the waiting and checking-in and the baggage claim was almost 3 Hours. Sheesh! Oh, I won one of the in-flight stupid games and got a free umbrella as a gift. I hope that rain y'all talking about would get over here so I can check this freebie out.

    'Heavens.. there you go again. Reminding me of someone again. Oh, by the way, the quoted sentence above… all I can muster is a weak, “I agree.”'

    Boo, there is nothing 'weak' about the way you think or the way you write. The thought of Andrea Del Sarto waiting for Lucrezia, off to an 'Elfin Grot' with her 'Whistling Cousin' just unraveled something inside of me. I got carried away, I'm afraid, as I often do -but then you must have noticed that about me at the very start.

    As for poetry…Lol! May I submit an offering at a latter time? Poetry is the not merely the language of Romance…it is the language of pain, pleasure, promise and payback. I've given myself to poetry sparingly, so, there are but a few lines of verse. But, I have a peace-offering in mind, I will discuss with you in private.
