'…no need, just wear wateva ur comfy in…'
Any excuse to go 'Banana Republic' shopping Lol! I spent so much money in their stores they might as well make me honorary president or something!
Algebra (Double Yuck…except for a certain someone)
No. Have no desire to go forward or backward. I am content with where I am.
Same question please.
Hmm can't remember. I did have imaginary things.
Same question please.
Street corners
Lol, true.
Train!
Hike or Kayak?
Cassava!
We have to wait and see, person above me. The Dragon hasn't seen my words yet.
I wish more people were like you Serio ji. I will reserve my sleep-inducing posts especially for you…seeing that you tolerate them so well.
Regular Ranch-hand huh? Bon-fire! We used to throw batteries in there and run like hell.
Log-cabin in the mountains or House-on-stilts on a lake?
Sigh! All the heroes I know are dead and seems to me that will be the only common thread in our lives. You can't just leave it can you, person above me? Lol!
Peanuts!
Uphill. You feel like dying at times, but you can at least control your climb. Going downhill is like eating one of my aunt's pot-pies.
What sounds more exciting? Hot-chocolate with marshmallows on a cold night or Sweet-tea with Lemon on a hot day?
You were awake enough to post, so apparently I failed. Sigh!
Kiss once (Strangers), Kiss twice (Acquaintances), Kiss thrice (Friends), Hug, kiss erm I mean suck on the lower lip (Special friend Lmao!).
Do you tie your left-shoe laces first or right-shoe laces first?
Bacon!
Oye! Pitter-patter-feeter! She will slay you first and slaughter me next. Leave me out of this person above me. Lol!
Decided to treat myself to Billie Holiday and have been listening to the same song over and over. In 1957 CBS ran a Sounds of Jazz special that brought together Lester Young and Billie Holiday after a long hiatus. A very ill Lester and the fast-waning Billie fed off each other's genius and produced a rare gem. If you are into Jazz, please listen to Lester Young's short solo, that is perhaps, one of the best solo's ever on a tenor saxaphone. He died a little while later of complications from his cancer. He was 49. Billie, apparently had remarked that she would go next, and so she did. She was 44. What a loss!
Here is Billie Holiday singing the painfully delightful 'Fine and Mellow.' Lester Young is the man with his hair slicked back, looking deathly pale, on the second solo. You could watch it on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tNSp7MaADM
My man don't love me
Treats me oh so mean
My man he don't love me
Treats me awfully
He's the, lowest man
That I've ever see
He wears high trimmed pants
Stripes are really yellow
He wears high trimmed pants
Stripes are really yellow
But when he starts in to love me
He's so fine and mellow
Love will make you drink and gamble
Make you stay out all night long repeat
Love will make you drink and gamble
Make you stay out all night long repeat
Love will make you do things
That you know is wrong
But if you treat me right baby
I'll stay home everyday
But if you treat me right baby
I'll stay home everyday
But you're so mean to me baby
I know you're gonna drive me away
Love is just like the faucet
It turns off and on
Love is just like the faucet
It turns off and on
Sometimes when you think it's on baby
It has turned off and gone
