Hello, can someone please give the english translation to this bhajan? Perhaps you, Uncle Sam?? If I've offended anyone before, I'm sorry! Many thanks!

Perhaps, this could be the bhajan?

    Film: Chambal Ki Qasam (1979)
    Singer: Lata Mangeshkar
    Music: Khaiyyaam

    parmeshvar rakhvaalaa teraa (2)
vo hi maataa vo hi pitaa hai

teen lok kaa saayi tere sar par rakhe saayaa
    tu meraa nanhaa man mohan

Thank you verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry much UncleSom!!! That's exactly the bhajan! Can someone please give me the English translation?

As for your response Mukesh, now that I know more info is needed, I'll be sure do do as you asked next time, however, bear in mind that sometimes one might not know the rest of the info related to the song/bhajan if they simple heard it sang at mandir by someone else. Then again, maybe you don't go to mandir so I can see how you can make an assumption that one will know more detail than what was given in my original request.

    Once again, thanks UncleSom!!!!

Hi guys, sorry i’m late in replying to your replies. Was out last week and go very busy. I really want to thank you Pethal and Madhu for trying to help. Pethal, I appreaciate you finding which movie the song is from. Madhu, I WISH I knew the movie the song came from. THAT’S exactly why I sought help from the forum! Smile [:)]Maybe that is not the title of the song. It starts that way but maybe it’s more “mithi mithi lori” or something like that. Once again, thank you both very much! Hopefully, we’ll find the answers soon. Bye for now. Sabrina.
