Neesi, for you. <3
Bewajah lag rahi thi, jab talaash hamari,
When my search was starting to seem pointless
ek khushboo uthi, aur rutt badal gayi saari.
a fragrance arose, and changed the entire season.
Saamne tum khade the paila ke baahen,
You were standing in front of me, with arms wide open,
jaise har dard mera, khud mein roke samaaye.
as if you had every sorrow of mine embedded within yourself, keeping it at bay.
Boo, hi. =) I’m good, aH. How are you? Thank you, I love the lyrics and the picture, so put ’em together. =)

jab chalee thhandee hawa, jab uthhee kalee ghata
When the cold wind blows, when the dark cloud rises
mujhko ai jan-e-wafa tum yad aaye
I remember you, my beloved (Jan-e-wafa literally means life-of my-faithfulness)
jindagee kee dasata chahe kitnee ho hasee, bin tumhare kuchh nahee
However beautiful the story of life may be, without you, it is nothing
kya maja aata sanam aaj bhule sey kahee, tum bhee aa jate yahee
How fun would it be, beloved, if you somehow, accidentally, came over here as well
yeh pahare yeh fija dekhkar o dilruba
Seeing these mountains, this wind, o beloved
janey kya dil ko huwa tum yad aaye
I don’t know what happened to my heart that I remembered you (after seeing the mountains/wind)
yeh najare yeh sama aur phir itne jawa hay rey yeh mastiya
These sceneries, this time, and (on top of that) how young it is (the time/scenery). oh such fun
aisa lagta hain mujhe, jaise tum najdik ho iss chaman sey jan-e-ja
It feels to me, as if you are close to this garden, o beloved. (jan-e-ja literally means life-of my-life. Like life of the party?)
sunake pee pee kee sada, dil dhadkata hain mera
On hearing the sound of the pee pee, my heart beats (faster) (I don’t know what the pee pee is. lol)
aaj pahale sey siwa tum yad aaye
Today I remember you like the first time
Jaaeeye Aap Kahaa Jaayenge
Go, where will you go?
(Ye Najar Laut Ke Fir Aayegee)2
This gaze will return and come back once again
Door Tak Aap Ke Peechhe, Peechhe
Very far, after you
Meree Aawaaj Chalee Jaayegee
My voice will go. (My voice will reach you from very far/however far you go, my voice will reach you there)
Jaaeeye Aap Kahaa Jaayenge
(Ye Najar Laut Ke Fir Aayegee)2
Aap Ko Pyaar Meraa, Yaad Jahaa Aayegaa
Wherever you remember my love
(Koee Kaantaa, Wahee Daaman Se Lipat Jaayegaa)2
Over there, some thorn will tangle in your skirt (A woman is singing this to a man,so she doesn’t mean HIS skirt, daaman means the skirt part of a dress, or in this case, can mean his pants, or even metaphorically, him.)
Jaaeeye Aap Kahaa Jaayenge
(Ye Najar Laut Ke Fir Aayegee)2
Jab Uthhoge Meree Betaab Nigaahon Kee Tarah
When you rise (to leave), like my impatient eyes (When you get up (in the same manner in which my impatient eyes lift open)
(Rok Legee Koee Daalee Meree Baahon Kee Tarah)2
A branch will stop you (in the same manner in which my arms would stop you)
Jaaeeye Aap Kahaa Jaayenge
(Ye Najar Laut Ke Fir Aayegee)2
Dekhiye Chain Milegaa Naa Kahee Dil Ke Siwaa
Look, you won’t find peace anywhere besides (in) your heart (I think she means her OWN heart when she says heart)
(Aap Kaa Koee Nahee, Koee Naheen Dil Ke Siwaa)2
You have no one, no one besides (this) heart (her heart)
Jaaeeye Aap Kahaa Jaayenge
(Ye Najar Laut Ke Fir Aayegee)2
I’ll give it a try. =)
Lubhaa means to attract.
aa_e bahaar ban ke lubhaa kar chale ga_e
(She) came like the spring, attracted me and then left
kahane ko vo hasiin the aa.Nkhe.n thii.n bevafaa haay
For the sake of saying, she WAS beautiful, her eyes were unfaithful
aa.Nkhe.n thii.n bevafaa
(Her) eyes were unfaithful
kahane ko vo hasiin the aa.Nkhe.n thii.n bevafaa haay
For the sake of saying, she WAS beautiful, her eyes were unfaithful
daaman merii nazar se bachaa kar chale ga_e
She left after protecting herself from my gaze. (Daaman literally means the skirt part of any kind of dress, but in this context, it means her, so she was protecting herself.)
aa_e bahaar ban ke lubhaa kar chale ga_e
You didn’t add in the rest of the lyrics, so I’ll do it for you.
Itna mujhe batao, mere dil ki dhadkano, hay
Tell me only this much, my heartbeats (He’s asking his heartbeats to tell him “this much”)
Dil ki dhadkano…
Beats of my heart (heartbeats)
Itna mujhe batao mere dil ki dhadkano, hay
Tell me only this much, my heartbeats
Woh kaun the, jo khwaab dhika kar chale gaye
Who was it that showed me dreams and then left?
Aaye bahaar ban ke lubhaa kar chale gaye
Kya raaz tha jo dil mein chupa kar chale gaye
What secret did she hide in her heart (when she) left?
Hope that helps. =)
Taken from:http://bollywoodtadka.com/2007/11/lyrics-on-demand-english-translation-of-song-aaja-nachle-from-the-movie-aaja-nachle/ – and edited to correct the parts I knew were wrong for sure.
Aaja Nachle
jhanak jhanak jhan
khanak khanak khan
jhanak jhanak khanak khanak khan khan
(sounds of bangles and anklets)
mera jhumka utha ke laaya yaar ve
(there went my lover and fetched my ear-ring for me…)
jo gira tha Barielly ke bazaar mein
(…which dropped off in the Bareilly market…)
main to thumka laga ke sharma gayi
(with a sway in my body, i turned coy)
boli ghoonghar bandha de ke main aa gayi
(and said to tie the (little bells on the anklets) for I have come)
mujhko nacha ke nach le
(make me dance and join in as well)
aaja nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
(common lets dance, my love )
jhanak jhanak jhankaar
(to the beats of my anklets)
ho…nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
ab to lutaa hai bazaar
(now that the market is in brisk business)
sub ko bhula ke nach le
(forget everything and just dance)
aaja nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
jhanak jhanak jhankaar
ho…nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
ab to lutaa hai bazaar
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle chhatt pe bula ke nachle
(common lets dance by calling everyone on the rooftops)
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle jhatt se utha ke nachle
(common lift your feet at once and lets dance)
ho…
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle chhatt pe bula ke nachle
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle jhatt se utha ke nachle
maine galti kari thi meri nathni padi thi
(it was but a mistake of mine when my nose stud was lying there and…)
haaan…
maine galti kari thi meri nathni padi thi
ke sone me usko rangaa gayi
(… and i went ahead to give it a gold veneer)
main rangaa ke atariyaa pe aa gayi
(and after I turned it into gold I came to the balcony)
mauhalle mien kaisi maar-a-maar hai
(The “push-and-shove” that is now (going on) in the street)
mere dar pe, dewaano ki bahaar hai
There is a shower of madmen (who claim to love me) at my doorstep
sabko nacha ke nachle
(make everyone dance and dance along)
aaja nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
jhanak jhanak jhankaar
ho…nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
ab to lutaa hai bazaar
subko bhula ke nach le
aaja nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
jhanak jhanak jhankaar
ho…nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
ab to lutaa hai bazaar
mai toh kamsin kali thi zara tanke chali thi haye…
(like a tender flower, i walked away with a zing in my step…)
ho…mai toh kamsin kali thi zara tanke chali thi
aage jaake gali mein balkha gaayi
(only to stumble at the turn of the alley)
mui jaane jawaani kab aa gayi
(Who knew when youth had come upon me)
mere sadke zamaane ki kamayi re
(this world yearns for a sight of mine, worth more than their earnings)
mujhe deta udhari halwai re
(and even shopkeepers lend me almost anything)
sabko nacha ke nachle
aaja nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
jhanak jhanak jhankaar
ho…nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
ab to lutaa hai bazaar
subko bhula ke nach le
aaja nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
jhanak jhanak jhankaar
ho…nachle nachle mere yaar tu nach le
ab to lutaa hai bazaar
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle chhatt pe bula ke nachle
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle jhatt se utha ke nachle
ho…
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle chhatt pe bula ke nachle
nachle nachle zara nachle nachle jhatt se utha ke nachle
Jai Ho
{I found the translation for this song on someone’s blog a while ago, but I can’t seem to find it again. Too bad because it was very nicely translated, along with the Spanish as well. I can’t find the full lyrics right now, just the hindi, so I’ll try and translate that for you as best I can. =)}
Jai Ho is like a victory shout. Literally translated, it means “may there be victory.” I’ve also heard it being used in Indian politics, when one of the politicians is being cheered on, “may so and so achieve victory.”
Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho
Aaja Aaja Jind Shamiyane Ke Tale
Come, come under the tent of life
Aaja Zariwale Nile Aasman Ke Tale
Come under the “zari” blue sky (Zari is, I think, a type of thread. I guess in this song, they’re saying the sky is woven with the zari thread.)
Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho
Jai Ho.., Jai Ho.., Jai Ho.., Jai Ho..
Ratti Ratti Sachi Maine Jaan Gavayi Hai
Truthfully, I have lost my life piece by piece (I actually don’t know what “ratti” means. I’m guessing it means like ioto, so he’s lost his life iota by iota, inch by inch. Maybe died a little every time something bad happened and now there is nothing left to kill, so he’s dead. Not really, though. Only poetically. Or mentally…
Nach Nach Koylo Pe Raat Bitayi Hai
I have spent the night dancing on coals
Akhiyon Ki Neend Maine Phoonko Se Uda Di
I blew away the sleep in my eyes by blowing on it
Gin Gin Tare Maine Ungli Jalayi Hai
I have burned my finger (trying) to count all the stars
Aaja Aaja Jind Shamiyane Ke Tale
Aaja Zariwale Nile Aasman Ke Tale
Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho
Chakh Le, Ha Chakh Le, Ye Raat Shahad Hai.. Chakh Le
Taste it, yes taste it, this night is honey, taste it
Rakh Le, Ha Dil Hai, Dil Aakhri Had Hai.. Rakh Le
Keep it, yes this is a heart, heart is the last limit(the very last thing to give away).. Keep it
Kala Kala Kajal Tera Koi Kala Jadoo Hai Na
Your black black kohl/eyeliner is your black magic of some kind, isn’t it
Aaja Aaja Jind Shamiyane Ke Tale
Aaja Jariwale Nile Aasman Ke Tale, Jai Ho, Jai Ho
Jai Ho.., Jai Ho.., Jai Ho.., Jai Ho..
Kab Se, Ha Kab Se Jo Lab Pe Ruki Hai.. Keh De
Since when, yes since when, that which has (the words that) have stopped at your lips… say it
Kab Se, Ha Kab Se Ab Aankh Jhuki Hai.. Keh De
Since when, yes since when, my eyes are now closed (closed so that you won’t be intimidated and would freely be able to say what you have been wanting to say for so long)… say it
Aisi Aisi Roshan Aankhe Roshan Doh Doh Heere Hai Kya
Such bright eyes, are these (eyes) actually two bright diamonds?
Aaja Aaja Jind Shamiyane Ke Tale
Aaja Jariwale Nile Aasman Ke Tale, Jai Ho, Jai Ho
Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho
Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho
I’ll try. =)
(mujhe tumse mohabbat hai deewanagi ki haddh tak
I love you to the extent of madness
deewana mujhe banaao na deewanagi ki haddh tak
Don’t make me insane to the extent of madness
aye sanam mujhse puchho kitni chahat hui hai – 2) – 2
Oh beloved, ask me how much I have come to love you
mujhe tumse mohabbat hai deewanagi ki haddh tak
deewana mujhe banaao na deewanagi ki haddh tak
(yeh khel nahi hai dil kisise lagana
Loving someone isn’t a game
tum dil ko lagake mujhe bhul na jaana) – 2
After loving me, don’t forget me
The way these two lines are worded, it makes me think of a… different meaning. I can’t translate it literally because it’s hard to do that with these lines. Basically, what she’s saying is that the game of love isn’t actually a game. And she’s saying that once you ‘get what you want’, don’t just forget and leave me… If that makes any sense?
aye sanam mujhse puchho kitni ulfat hui hai – 2
O beloved, ask me how much I have come to love you
mujhe tumse mohabbat hai deewanagi ki haddh tak
deewana mujhe banaao na deewanagi ki haddh tak
(kyun chain mera ab khone laga hain
Why has my peace begun to get lost? (Why am I no longer at peace?) (Why am I restless?)
tumhe kya bataaun kya hone laha hain) – 2
What do I tell you of what has started happening to me?
aye sanam mujhse puchho kaisi haalat hui hai – 2
O beloved, ask me of the state I’m in (Ask me what has happened to me since I’ve fallen in love)
mujhe tumse mohabbat hai deewanagi ki haddh tak
deewana mujhe banaao na deewanagi ki haddh tak
aye sanam mujhse puchho kitni chahat hui hai – 2
(mujhe tumse mohabbat hai deewanagi ki haddh tak
deewana mujhe banaao na deewanagi ki haddh tak) – 2
You’re welcome, Neesi. =)

I swear I translated this for you at least 2 times. The forum was going through some issues before, so maybe that’s why it never got posted up. Anyway, this is my absolute favorite version of this song and my favorite scene from the movie, made me cry so much when I saw it. Shahrukh and Jaya are so beautiful in this scene, I adore this. =) So I’d love to translate this for you! =) I will do a literal translation, just so you can get a little bit of the poetry. And if it sounds funny, I’ll put up in parentheses what the actual point is. =)
Jee Chahta Hai Gale Se Laga Loon,
My heart desires to put you against my neck. (My heart wants to embrace you.) (I want to hug you.)
Palkon Mein Rak Loon Main, Nazar Mein Chupa Loon
To keep you in my eyelashes, hide you in my gaze. (So that I will always be able to see you.)
Paas Hai, Door Hai.
We’re close, we’re far. (We’re standing so close to each other, but there is still distance between us.)
Kitne Majboor Hai.
How helpless we are.
Ro Raha Mera Dil, Meri Aankhein Hai Nam.
My heart is crying, yet my eyes are moist. (The tears may be coming from my eyes, but it is my heart that truly aches.)
Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Ghum. Na Juda Honge Hum, Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Ghum.
Sometimes happiness, sometimes sorrow. We’ll never separate, sometimes happiness, sometimes sorrow. (Whether we have happiness or sorrow in our life, we’ll never separate. Because happiness and sorrow are an inevitable part of life. Sometimes you get happiness, and sometimes you get sorrow.)
I hope that helped! I kind of suck at translating, but I did the best I could. =)
I’ll try. =)
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
After (breaking) my heart into pieces
Muskurake chal diye
(you) walked away with a smile
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
Muskurake chal diye
Jaate jaate ye to bataa jaa
As you go, at least tell me this
Hum jiyenge kis ke liye
For whom will I live?
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
Muskurake chal diye
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
Muskurake chal diye
Chaand bhee hogaa
The moon will be there
Taare bhee honge
The stars will also be there
Ful chaman mein pyaare bhee honge
The flowers in the garden will be lovely
Lekin humaraa dil naa lagega
But my heart won’t be happy
Bheegegee jab jab raat suhaani
Every time the beautiful night will pass
Aag lagayegi rut masataani
A fire will be lit in the mastaani (never knew the exact translation for this) season
Toohee bataa koee kaise jiyegaa
You tell me how anyone will live
Dil ke maaron ko dil ke maalik
(?)
Thhokar lagaakar chal diye
You bumped into me and walked away
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
Muskurake chal diye
Jaate jaate ye to bataa jaa
Hum jiyenge kis ke liye
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
Muskurake chal diye
Luthhe rahenge aap jo hum se
If you continue to rob from me
Mar jaayenge hum bhee kasam se
I swear, I will also die
Soon le haath chhoodaane se pahale
Hear this, before you let go of my hand
Jaan humaaree naam pe tere
My life, on your name
Jaayegee yek din dilabar mere
will go one day, my love. (I will die in your name, because of you)
Soch samaz le jaane se pahale
Think carefully before you leave
Yoo agar tum dil ke Tamannaa ko mitaakar chal diye
If you walk away like this, erasing the heart’s desires
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
Muskurake chal diye
Jaate jaate ye to bataa jaa
Hum jiyenge kis ke liye
Dil ke tukade tukade kar ke
Muskurake chal diye

The season for taking a heart has come, the season for giving your heart away has come. (Falling in love)
jogan pe joban aaya, joban ne li angdaayi) – (2)
youth has come upon the jogan, and her youth is stretching (lol this sounds really funny. Jogan, as far as I know is some kind of religious person who goes off on their own and doesn’t settle in one place for too long, always chanting something. I may be wrong, because jogans are used a lot in songs to compare with people who are in love. Anyway, in this line, he’s saying that the jogan has hit puberty and is growing into a woman. I don’t understand why her youth is stretching… I’m probably translating this wrong, but as far as I know, angdaayi is to stretch… or could be used as a substitute for waiting? Idek.)

I’ll try. My Urdu isn’t perfect, so I’ll try to translate what I know and I’ll just leave out the words I don’t know.
wo jo hum main tum main qarar tha tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
The peace that was between you and I, you may or may not remember (or could be “whether you remember or not”)
wahi yani wada nibah k tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
That (yani?) promise of fulfillment, you may or may not remember
wo naye gile wo shikayaten wo maze maze ki hikayaten
Those new complaints, those new accusations, those amusing/entertaining (hikayaten?)
wo har ek bat pe ruthna tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
That getting upset over every thing (bat literally=word), you may or may not remember
koi bat aisi agar hui jo tumhare ji ko buri lagi
If something ever happened that hurt your heart (literally=If such a word (was said) that your heart did not like)
to bayan se pahle hi bhulna tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
Then you may or may not remember the way you used to forget it before even expressing it
suno zikr hai kai sal ka, ke kiya ek aap ne waada tha
Listen, there is a mention of many years, that you had promised me something
wo nibahane ka to zikr kya, tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
That mention of fulfilling (that promise), whether you remember or not
kabhi hum main tum main bhi chah thi, kabhi hum se tum se bhi rah thi
There was once love between us, (there was once a path between us?)
kabhi hum bhi tum bhi the ashna, tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
We were once known (we once knew each other?), whether you remember or not
hue itefaq se gar baham, wo wafa jatane ko dam-ba-dam
By coincidence (gar baham?), proving my faithfulness every moment
gila-e-malamat-e-arqaba, tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
wo jo lutf mujh pe the beshtar, wo karam k hath mere haal par
Those people that were (beshtar?) on me, those hands of generosity upon my situation(state I was in)
mujhe sab hain yad zara zara, tumhen yad no k na yad ho
I remember it all a little bit, whether you remember it or not
kabhi baithe sab hain jo ru-ba-ru to isharaton hi se guftagu
Some time, when everyone is sitting face to face, then (we had) conversations through signals
wo bayan shauq ka barmala tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
That speech of (shauq ka barmala?), Whether you remember or not
wo bigarna wasl ki rat ka, wo na manana kisi bat ka
That messed up night (of wasl?), not being comforted by any reasoning
wo nahin nahin ki har an ada, tumhen yad ho ki na yad ho
jise ap ginte the ashna jise ap kahte the bawafa
The one whom you counted as your beloved, the one whom you called unfaithful
main wahi hun “Momin”-e-mubtala tumhen yad ho k na yad ho
I am that “person” of (mubtala?), whether you remember or not
First off, I am so sorry about the multiple posts. The forum wouldn’t let me post any other way. I actually had this translated a few weeks or so after you requested it, but the forum wouldn’t let me post no matter how many times I tried, so I left it. (I’m sorry forum, I love you, but you can be quite the crazy house.) Second, I totally and completely butchered this ghazal for you because my translation is not good at all and I am so sorry for that. Ghazals are confusing with their big Urdu words and deep meanings, and double puns. But it’s better than no translation at all, right? *hopeful look* :/
I haven't heard this song before, so it's a confusing to try to translate with just the words and no emotion to back it up and give me a hint of what the confusing sentences mean. But I'll translate the sentences, and anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. 🙂
Hai Apni Zameen Hai Apna Jahan
This is our ground/earth, this is our world
Mitti main hai Milna Yahan
We'll meet with the dirt here (we'll die here)
Yah Dharti tou hai ma ki tarha
This earth is like our mother
Naya josh ho sub ho jahan
May there be new zeal where everyone else is (:/)
Na Hon ge Kabhi Tareeqian
There will never be any progression
Deeyah say diya ho jalta jahan
in a place where the candle is burning from another candle (:/)
Kiyn subhi woh rastain chunain
Why must everyone chose those (same) paths?
Dhundh lo nae se manzilain
Find new destinations
Lafzon main hain jazbay jo tere
The emotions that are in your words
bol ke lab azad hain tere
after saying it (the words full of emotion), your lips are free
Hum Aazad hain
We are free
Hum Aazad hain
Baharon se jo mila hai saman
Now that time has met the springs (season)
Kaae khawabo ki hain qurbanian
It is the sacrifice of many dreams
The jazbon main jo chupi dastan
the story that was hidden in emotions
Woh aj jo hai rago main rawan
the one that was flowing (rawan?) in (our) veins
Woh jazba wohi hilmat jawan
That emotion, that courage is young (strong)
Lay ker chaloo, chuain Asman
Bring it and let's go, touch the sky
Kiyn subhi woh rastain chunain
Dhundh lo nae se manzilain
lafzon main hain jazbay jo tere
bol ke lab azad hain tere
Hum aazad hain
Hum Aazad hain
I'll try. 🙂
Tu Jaan Se Pyara Ho Gaya, Jeene Ka Sahaara Ho Gaya
You have become dearer to me than my own life, have become the support (reason) for living
Tu Jaan Se Pyara Ho Gaya, Jeene Ka Sahaara Ho Gaya
Tu Rab Se Bhi Pyara Ho Gaya, Tu Ishq Hamaara Ho Gaya
... , You have become my love
Tu Jaan Se Pyara Ho Gaya, Jeene Ka Sahaara Ho Gaya
Tera Husn Ka Jadoo Chal Gaya, Seene Se Nikal Kar Dil Gaya
The magic of your beauty has worked, my heart has gone out from my chest
Chaahath Ka Nasha Hai Cchha Gaya, Hona Hai Mujh Tujh Mein Fanaa
The intoxication of desire has overcome us, I want to be destroyed in you
Tera Husn Ka Jadoo Chal Gaya, Seene Se Nikal Kar Dil Gaya
Aakhon Se Ishaarein Yun Huye Dil Tera Hua Hum Tere Huye
Signals/hints have been made from the eyes in such a way that my heart and I became yours
Jo Khwab Adhurein The Mere Lamhon Mein Woh Poore Ho Gaye
The dreams that were incomplete in my moments have become whole/complete (become true)
Rag Rag Mein Basaloongi Tujhe Mujhe Jeena Nahin Tere Bina
I'll embed you into every vein of mine, I don't want to live without you
Tu Jaan Se Pyara Ho Gaya, Jeene Ka Sahaara Ho Gaya
Tu Rab Se Bhi Pyara Ho Gaya, Tu Ishq Hamaara Ho Gaya
Tu Jaan Se Pyara Ho Gaya, Jeene Ka Sahaara Ho Gaya
Shaamil Hai Tu Mujhe Mein Is Tharah Phoolon Mein Ho Khusboo Jis Tharah
You are included in me/ a part of me in the same way that a fragrance is in a flower
Tera Ishq Hai Meri Zindagi, Tera Pyar Hai Meri Har Khushi
Your love is my life, your love is my every joy
Dil Tera Deewana Ho Gaya, Har Ghum Se Begaana Ho Gaya
My heart has become crazy for you, it has become oblivious to every sorrow
Tera Husn Ka Jadoo Chal Gaya, Seene Se Nikal Kar Dil Gaya

Kasamh Se introduced me to this song as well! 😀 I remember exactly when it was played, and I liked it a lot! 🙂 It's not boring at all! I love it! When I listen to songs, I listen for the lyrics and meanings, couldn't care less about the actual musical instruments, so when I listened to this song, I was drawn to the words and fell in love with it immediately. It fit VERY well with the couple in Kasamh Se that it was played for! 🙂
--MALE--
Yeh parda hata do, zara mukhda dikha do - 2
Remove this curtain/veil, show your face a little
Hum pyaar karne waale hai, koi gair nahin
I'm one that loves, not some stranger
Arre hum tum pe marne waale hai koi gair nahin
I'm one that loves you, not some stranger
--FEMALE--
O majnu ke nana mere peechhe na aana
O grandfather of Majnu, don't come after me. (You're gonna have to google Laila Majnue to figure out who Majnu was.)
Jaa pyaar karne waale teri khair nahin
Go, one who loves, there is no good to be expected from you (I think)
Arre o hum pe marne waale teri khair nahin
One who loves me, there is no good to be expected from you (I think)
--MALE--
Yeh parda hata do, zara mukhda dikha do
Hum pyaar karne waale hai, koi gair nahin
Arre hum tum pe marne waale hai koi gair nahin
Yeh parda hata do
(Ek to surat pyaari upar se gusse ki laali
One, your face is so lovely, and on top of that, is the redness(flush) of anger
Bachna ae dil aaj hai koi bijli girne waali) - 2
Beware O heart, lightening is going to strike today
--FEMALE--
Yeh bijli giri to tumhi pe giregi
If this lightening strikes, it will strike on you
Jaa pyaar karne waale teri khair nahin
Arre o hum pe marne waale teri khair nahin
--MALE--
Yeh parda hata do, zara mukhda dikha do
Hum pyaar karne waale hai, koi gair nahin
Arre hum tum pe marne waale hai koi gair nahin
Yeh parda hata do
--FEMALE--
(Sukhar karo ke pade nahin hai mere ma ke dande
Be grateful that my mother hasn't hit you with sticks yet
Ek haath mein ho jaate armaan tumhaare thande) - 2
In one hand, your wishes would have cooled down.
--MALE--
Ma ko bhi samjha do, bas itna bata do
Make your mother understand as well, tell her just this:
Hum pyaar karne waale hai, koi gair nahin
Arre hum tum pe marne waale hai koi gair nahin
--FEMALE--
O majnu ke nana mere peechhe na aana
Jaa pyaar karne waale teri khair nahin
Arre o hum pe marne waale teri khair nahin
--MALE--
Yeh parda hata do
(Jahan mile do jawaan nazar hoti taqraar vahin hai
Wherever two youthful eyes meet, an encounter happens right there
Dil par rakhkar haath yeh keh do humse pyaar nahin hai) - 2
Put a hand on your heart and say that you don't love have love for me (you don't love me)
--FEMALE--
Dil ki baatein dilwaale nazron se hi pehchaante - 2
The courageous understand the words of the heart from the eyes themselves. (Dilwale literally means "those with a heart.")
Lekin kuch aise hai anari jo yeh bhi na jaante
But there are some fools that don't even know this
--MALE--
Yeh pehle bataate baaraat leke aate
If you had told me this before, I would have brought along the wedding procession
Hum pyaar karne waale hai, koi gair nahin
Arre hum tum pe marne waale hai koi gair nahin
--FEMALE--
O majnu ke nana
--BOTH--
Hum pyaar karne waale hai, koi gair nahin
Arre hum tum pe marne waale hai koi gair nahin
--MALE--
Yeh parda hata do
Can you please provide the lyrics please? I've never heard of the song and wouldn't want to translate the wrong song. 🙂
