person above me ur an ajnabi to meeee! coz I haven't spoken to u for lyyyk aagesss…..!
omigosh ob coursssee it's kabhi alvida na kehna- i've seen it! uff i'm going blind seriouss
btw WOW rani, great pics! I absolutely lub the dress she's wearing. Is that available to buy..? I like that it's glamorous yet very modest aswell, (which I kinda think defines Rani Mukherjee in general )
haniirani:Anyway, I have seen Baabul and I loved the climax. That was the most heartwrenching scene in the movie…
I completely agree, I think it was the climax that turned the whole dynamic of the film from a typical love triangle just-about-staying-awake film to a heart-wrenching tale about the poor father who only wants the best for his kids. I was THIS close to rating it a dire 2/10 before the climax scene, but amitabh's lil speech and the whole justification of it all rounded it off to a nice 8/10.
Omigosh it's Amz! god it's been wayyy too long since I spoke to the ajnabi above me
Shakalaka Baby:
ramz:person above me who is in ur avi?? *squint* hehe

Has anyone heard the song 'Hichki' from Risk? V catchy tune…must check out!
Desi Hunk:Wow ramz, you really had a fantastic time at wedding and thanks for a satisfactory report *wink*
You are right turkish music is pretty good.. Heard about tarkan or mustafa sandal?
Ever been in turky?? I went there last summer in marmaris such a nice place, great food, great people.. gotta try it!
Actually I'm thinking about going there again this summer.. or pakistan.. maybe both..Those tunes are nice but you should try and listen to Mahiya ve soniya (soul mix), O re piya (trance mix), Maula.. *wink*
Nooo unfortunately I haven't been to turkey yet but definitely some time in the future iraada to hain, it seems like such an amazing country. Plus everywhere just food waiting to be eaten *drooool*….however this summer i'm setting my sights on pakistan aswell, it's my longest absence yet! Pakistan is calling out to me hehe
Hmm Mustafa Sandal i've heard about him vaguely from my turkish friend, I think I heard a track or two aswell possibly it's him who sings the doody song that I like….. I'll research and report back! Will give ur tunes a listen, thanks for the tips
The wedding…it was amazing! The bride's dress was absolutely stunning, completely white encrusted with Swarovski crystals. It was interesting to see how different the culture is to the Pakistani/Indian/Hindu traditions (which are all interwoven and share many between them). While at any wedding I had attended previously you'd see everyone going crazy to some bhangra or bollywood dance tune, here there were the AWSOMEST arabic/turkish/persian tunes (I really couldnt tell the difference lol) and the dancing..!..oh the dancing, all the girls had some sort of belly wiggle hair flicking thing going on which just looked so graceful and just downright cool! They played Haifa's songs non-stop (an amazing arabic singer) god shes brilliant, and I didn't get the name of the artist but one song got everyone going crazy on the dancefloor, I have no idea what the words are but it starts off 'wooo wooo wooo, wooo wooo woo oo oo' in this doody tune that I am ready to sing for anyone cz its just awesome! I could go on forever hehe but i won't
Atif Aslam rocks! I really don't have to say much more. I prefer Doorie…..but Tere Bin has got to be his best so far
crajeeee! I hope it was all constructive shopping na?
Desi duude, great stuff… main filhaal theek hi hoon
Boooo u funny bunny, *homework- research and translate all the hindi on this page* acha??
The weekend?……I'm going to a turkish wedding heehee I can't express how excited I am!!
Nooo but dayemm does it look funny! How was it? Good enough to watch or just a waste of 3 hours….?
btw HEY desi duude *wave*
Sounds great! remarkably similar to mine 😀 except maybe i didnt make quite so much money It's soo great the whole family reunion hain na? In the evening we normally go a lil crazeee and we rounded the night off with a conga line consisting of about 30 antie & uncle jis and cousins to 'rail gaddi' all the way around the house hehe. Twas fun!
Eid Mubarak guys! Sorry this is just a tad late hehe
So what did everyone do on Eid?? It'd be nice to know how everyone celebrates…..?
😀
boo:sigh…
I feel like running to a yellow field somewhere, early in the morning, and crying… just sobbing away…
the tears may not be coming out, but i HATE it when it feels as though someoneis literally pulling at my heart…. LITERALLY… sigh.
Ditto
yayy great stuff scarface!
Ive read the da vinci code, i thought the book was amazing, the film has nothing on the book so pleej pleej pleej do urself a favour and read the book before you watch the film!!
Does my head look big in this?-Randa Abdel- Fattah (I know for a fact that no one has read it coz I made a thread to comment on it and no one replied:P) The orientation of the book is teenage-style but you'll find the author has just cleverly structured her take on difficult-to-express issues.
Dan Brown…his little collection of books…I've only read “The Da Vinci Code' and 'Angels and Demons' but i've heard great reviews about 'Digital Fortress'. Another book of his is 'Deception Point' if anyone wants to check that out and feedback to us:D He uses a similar style throughout his books so if you like one, you'll like them all
hey person above me *wave*. Well hmm I know rani girly likes to call you habibti na? Well my friend uses that word and I lurrrveee it, it sounds sooo damn kwl! 😀
'Agle janam mohe bitiya na ki jo'- from umrao jaan 06
It's such a touching song, the lyrics are so heart-rendering *sniff*
