Tere Liye from Veerzara is not sung by Babul Supriyo so that is probably not the song being requested here.
Babul Supriyo sang a song titled Tere Liye from his album “Kuchh aisa lagtaa hai”. I suspect that is the one being requested. You can listen to it at the following site:

However, that is not how each word translates. Saalaa is a word that traditionally means the brother of the wife. However, it is more often used as a swear word. One way to insult a man is to call him saalaa because that implies that you are having an illicit relationship with his sister. Though it was probably not a good idea to tell you all this.
