lol yes really watch Dhobi Ghat. In fact, I may go and watch it all over again because I don’t think one viewing is enough to appreciate all the poetry the film has to offer. It is just so wonderfully, sensitively made. I totally fell in love with it. Each character has so much to them, and at certain points it is so subtle – too subtle one might argue – that you have sooooooooooooo much fun just slowly and carefully unwrapping each of the layers of thoughts going on in your head. What a brilliant movie. Kiran Rao is definitely a babe to watch out for!!

I SO KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT SOMETIMES WISHING I LIVED IN A STARS HOLLOW! I sometimes wish I did too! I just love the idea of people living a life where the little things are all meaningful – all the little town crazies they do like the 24 hour dance contest, the picnic dating auction thing… all those little things that people actually have time for and participate in. Aww. 🙂 Where’d you get them on your phone from? And where’d you get them on your laptop lol… could you PM me the details? I might do that too actually, sounds like a neat idea. Running for 45 minutes straight through a full episode of GG. Do you know I joined the gym and STILL haven’t been yet?! It is terrible! I think GG will motivate me further.

Which episode did you end up watching? I don’t think Rory and Dean made a good couple, Dean wasn’t geeky enough for Rory (the reason she kinda grew out of him in the first place) I felt. I think Jess would have made a good boyfriend. But I’m just in awe of his hotness. 😉 I loved the chemistry between Rory and Logan too. I think Paris and Doyle were too awesome for words though. 😀

Sometimes I get annoyed by how inconsiderate Lorelai’s character is towards others. Especially in the way she treats men. But I guess she is allowed to have her flaws, it possibly even makes the character more real.

I LOVE the way they completely normalised having a child at 16 out of wedlock LOL 😀 And possibly even romanticised it. Ahhh, GG <3

I ADOOOORE GILMORE GIRLS AND I WATCH ALL THE REPEATS AND I AM EVEN PLANNING ON BUYING THE DVDS!!! YES, I LOVE IT THAT MUCH! BAD DAY? PUT THE GILMORE GIRLS ON! GOOD DAY? PUT THE GILMORE GIRLS ON (TO CELEBRATE!)! AAAH I LOVE THAT SHOW! The mother and daughter remind me SO SO much of the interactions between me and my sister lol… sort of. My sister’s much less soppy about the whole thing, though. I even dedicated the wonderful ‘Where You Lead’ song to my sister and she just goes, “You’re gay.” to me LOLOL.
