And is that why the Kal Ho Na Ho display picture, and the signature?
And if I could bring someone back from the dead, I would bring back my close friend's grandmother for her… I have not really lost anyone that close to me… *touchwood*
What always puts a smile on your face?
Hey. I'm so sorry to hear that…
I know you know I was thinking of Friends when you posted that pic.
Oreo ji!
Many, many, many (belated) happy returns of the day! Hope you had a wonderful day, bullying lots of little kids… Haha… seriously though, hope your day was filled with love and laughter and I hope the coming year (and every other coming year) will be a happy one for you… I hope you find many many more mentals to put into that asylum of yours… And have an Oreo for me, too!
Take care and keep on rocking,
“Boogedy Boo” (as you… ahem… so fondly call me… )
Silly thing won't show the whole image… you're going to have to save it and view it on your computer… sorry hun…
Love…………x
For Rani... I love you... *hug*

Duniya mein kitni hain nafratein
Phir bhi dilon mein hain chaahatein

Mit bhi jaaye yaar waale
Zinda rehti hain unki mohabbatein
Zinda rehti hain unki mohabbatein

The memories of this thread… ahhh!
For my Angel, Tayba…
Just read these lyrics and listened to this song and thought of you… thought you would appreciate them. I love it, so beautiful.
I love you………….x
Sweet little words made for silence
Not talk
Young heart for love
Not heartache
Dark hair for catching the wind
Not to veil the sight of a cold world
Kiss while your lips are still red
While he`s still silent
Rest while bosom is still untouched, unveiled
Hold another hand while the hand`s still without a tool
Drown into eyes while they`re still blind
Love while the night still hides the withering dawn
First day of love never comes back
A passionate hour`s never a wasted one
The violin, the poet`s hand,
Every thawing heart plays your theme with care
Kiss while your lips are still red
While he`s still silent
Rest while bosom is still untouched, unveiled
Hold another hand while the hand`s still without a tool
Drown into eyes while they`re still blind
Love while the night still hides the withering dawn
Thank you Nessa… Imma Google this song and listen to it now.
Thank you… just… thank you. I am too tired to say anything more.
Sigh.
“Hona hai tujh mein fanaa…”
I wish we could turn back time.
Or I am just in a restless mood. Blah.
Oh Rani I love you.
Thank you so much for this. I love it. I would quote my favourite parts but then I'd be quoting the whole thing all over again. 😀 lol.
*hug*
If we burn our wings
Flying too close to the sun
If the moment of glory
Is over before it’s begun
If the dream is won —
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price,
But we will not count the cost
When the dust has cleared
And victory denied
A summit too lofty
River a little too wide
If we keep our pride —
Though paradise is lost
We will pay the price,
But we will not count the cost
And if the music stops
There’s only the sound of the rain
All the hope and glory
All the sacrifice in vain
[And] if love remains
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price,
But we will not count the cost
I miss him, and he's out there having the time of his life, his arms around a gazillion women. How is this FAIR?!
I need a break which I'm never going to get.
I've never felt this broken.
This useless.
This helpless.
Why, jaana?
And Tayba… I have no words for you… I… thank you. Thank you.
I don't want to break up with him, I really don't… I really don't…
Oh lord. My life is going to have a big empty hole in it all over again.
Sigh.
Having said that, Rani – and I fully agree, it is a fantastic milestone – don't you think the fact that he is black is not the issue to be celebrated here…? He could be any race or religion, but why should that matter? Isn't whether he is going to lead the country forward well enough the issue to think about? Isn't that what the role of the president of a country is?
I don't understand why people are fussing about the fact that he is African American. Well, I mean, I do, you know… it is showing that America is willing to accept an African American guy as a president, and that is – hopefully – a reflection of the mindset of America, regarding racial issues… in part, at least. But even so.
Obama could turn out – though I sincerely hope not – to be a rubbish president of the United States of America, he might make the wrong decisions and do the wrong things… though his ideas on change and whatnot do not imply this, there is nevertheless a chance that he could mess things up, as is the case with anyone. Then what?
This is not to do with colour at all, it is to do with the human being. Celebrate the fact that a good human being has been elected (oh I sound so politically ignorant… and I am! lol…), not the fact that a 'black man' has been elected. Celebrate the fact that America is open-minded enough to accept a black man as President, but not that there is now a black guy in the White House.
Am I making sense, people?
Obama!
