Hey Boo! I noticed the book “Shantaram” on my unit the other night, made me think of you :). I read the blurb and it sounds interesting, something I might want to read when I have a bit more time. Let me know what you think of it when you’re done!

Change is inevitable and I think recent Bollywood films are depicting a cultural change in India – at least in the bigger cities, and to an extent in the smaller cities and towns. I think this is great, I enjoy watching movies that are relatively realistic and have characters that I can somewhat relate to. That being said, I still love movies from the 90’s in which the focus was on family, values, and tradition (e.g. DDLJ, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Maine Pyar Kiya) and even more old school movies (e.g. Sangam, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Deewar, Sholay). I can see why some people may not like the direction in which Bollywood movies are heading, but if the movies hadn’t changed with time, we’d still be watching black n white movies in which bandits were kidnapping the heroine and the hero would single-handedly overpower 20 evil guys, save the heroine, and live happily ever after!!

I want to know what others think about this, so same question!!

Person above me is obsessed with “Supernatural.” I’ve heard good things about this show, don’t know if it would be my kind of tv show though *-).

Boo: Omg YaY! Another GG fan! I’m always so excited to meet someone who loves GG as much as I do. It’s unfortunate that many people don’t know about it. It was such an awesome show, sadly I didn’t get into it until season 4 or 5 (thank you Shereena for introducing me to it!!!). I’ve seen all the episodes now and have them all on my laptop. You are so right about GG being the perfect show for any mood and any time of the day. I put some episodes on my phone, and it’s perfect for watching at the gym, long drives, or when you just plain miss it! I sometimes wish I lived in a place like Stars Hallow, and had a Taylor Doosie, Ms. Patti, or Sookie lol. Personally, I liked Logan, thought he was cute, but didn’t think him and Rory would work out. Dean was the best, but things got pretty messed up there.. Just talking bout GG makes me want to watch it! Think I’ll watch an episode before heading to bed :D.

P.S. I read an article somewhere in which Lorelai (Lauren Graham) was saying something about a GG movie.. I’m a bit torn about the idea; it’s been too long now I think, but I want to know how things are working out for Rory, Lorelai, Luke, and everyone else!

Person above me likes “Supernatural” I haven’t seen that show, but Jared Padalecki used to be on “Gilmore Girls,” one of my all time fav shows :).

Lol I know someone who absolutely hates airplanes, and has to take a valium before boarding one :p

It really depends on who I’m travelling with. For instance, if I’m going on a road trip with friends, I prefer driving. But if I’m going somewhere with family I either sleep, watch a movie, or drive.. drivings fun!!
