A very special person was born on this day…She may always be confused when replying to the posts on this forum, but her presence has made this forum even more special than it already is. So help me celebrate this special occasion!

17th Birthday, Hayati! I hope this birthday is even better than your former birthdays. May Allah accept all your duas and bless you with the happiness you deserve. I'm glad you enjoyed being sweet 16, and I make dua that you enjoy being 17 even more. Wow, I feel so young, don't you? These years pass by so quickly…make sure to make the most of them. Do you know what it feels like to be 17? No different than it feels like to be 16. lol. I bet the-“I feel so old”-feeling is gonna kick in once we turn 18…or 20…lol.

I love you, Hayati. I know I say it a lot, and maybe it loses its value, but I really do mean it. I can't even begin to tell you how important you are to me…you have done so much for me…and I can't even find the words to thank you enough. I hope a hug filled with all my gratitude will suffice… I still remember the times we had in our Islamic class at the Mosque. I like the fact that we became friends so quickly, it was so easy to talk to you and I had fun doing it. And then, when you had to take a month off, we would call each other almost everyday! Remember you told me, “I talk to you on the phone more than I talk to Tia and Ray!”? lol. And I can't forget the time when I came to class and I was really upset, and yeah, everybody was asking me if I was okay, but you not only asked me, you kept pestering me about it and called me afterwards, and that made me realize that you really do care. And I'm so glad we can trust each other, because some of the things I have told you…it hurts so much just to talk about it, but no one was able to give me the advice you gave me…and I don't regret telling you.

On the 24th..thursday…my BIRTHDAY…i didn't even get a 'Happy Birthday” from my family nor a cake or anything i was.. I was really shocked because normally I get two cakes and all this stuff for my birthday. and this year i got NOTHING…or almost to nothing….well, less. lol

well, anyways..in the end of the day i was like 'hm..this is weird. doesn't feel like my birthday' but i didnt care too much.. i was like eh…

then today when i come home from the masjid all my friends and sisters threw me a surprise party! and boy, was I surprised lol

I'm usually aware of these things…and they've been planning it for over a month…wow lol they did a prettty good job hiding it.

But seriously, I love it you guys. Rani, Ninja…I love you guy so friggin' much! it was awesome and tons of fun!
