Oldie fan input:
I forgot to write an important note about this song.
‘Man tarpat’ song’s tune is based on a popular Indian Classical music Raga called,
‘Malkauns’. Thus this song is also well known among Indian classical music fans.
Saeed:
If I too may add, Malkauns is a raga that is centuries old, is sung late in the night when worldly demands are over and its
time for quite reflection, self examination. The notes of this raga are mellow and it is said
that if properly rendered malkauns will invoke the spirits.
Best listened to alone, without any distractions, perhaps in a darkened room, in total surrender to the music.
SIMPLY SUPERB & NICE OF YOU FOR MAKING DIVINE VOICES AVAILABLE TO EARTHLINGS.
GREAT GREAT GREAT
