      Hi-My name is Nirvana and I am seeking anyone’s help in translating a Jagjit and Chitra song which begins with the words “Sirf Shabnam Ki Shaadi………” I don’t know if that is the name of the song . I know it is on a Cd entitled the best of Jagjit and Chitra.The translation is for someone very dear to me…….thanks in advance for your help.

      Is it possible for you to post the lyrics? It is much easier for any of us to translate when lyrics are already provided. Thanks.

      Hi again-I played the song and tried to write down the words to it-some of the words might be spelt wrong-the ones i’m not sure abt i’m putting a question mark next to it. I just want a general jist of the song………..here goes….

      Tujhko daria dil ki, kasam sa kiya
      Mustaphil daud par daud chlata rahe
      Raunake?(pe)mai qada? youn hi bharti rahe
      Ek ghirta rahe, ek samalta rahe

      Sirf shabnam hi shaane gulista nahee
