hello everybody!
I was looking for “Tujhe yaad na meri aayee” translation in many places but I only find a half of it, so can anyone of you translate the other part for me please.
Thank you so much,
Lots of love,
Romy.
I couln’d find this part:
Wo chand mere ghar-aangan
Ab to aayeega
Tere soone is aanchal ko
Wo bhar jaayega
Teri kar di god bharaayee,
Teri kar di god bharaayee,
Kisi se ab kya kehna
Dil roya ki ankh bhar aayee
Dil roya ki ankh bhar aayee
Kisi se ab kya kehna
Tujhe yaad na meri aayee
Kisi se ab kya kehna
O mahinyaa, O mahinyaa
Khata ho gayi mujhse
Kaha kuch nahin tumse
Ikrar jo tum kar paate
To door kabhi na jaate
Koi samjhe na peer parayee
Koi samjhe na peer parayee
Kisi se ab kya kehna
Kisi Din Banoongi Main Raja Ki Rani
Wo chand mere ghar-aangan Ab to aayeega
that moon will now come to the courtyard of my home
Tere soone is aanchal ko Wo bhar jaayega
he will fill your empty lap
Teri kar di god bharaayee,****
I have completed the custom of filling your lap
Teri kar di god bharaayee,
Kisi se ab kya kehna
now what to say to any one
Dil roya ki ankh bhar aayee
the heart cried and eyes filled with tears
Dil roya ki ankh bhar aayee
Kisi se ab kya kehna
now what to say to any one
Tujhe yaad na meri aayee
you never remembered me
Kisi se ab kya kehna
now what to say to any one
O mahinyaa, O mahinyaa
Khata ho gayi mujhse
I made a mistake
Kaha kuch nahin tumse
that i never said any thing to you
Ikrar jo tum kar paate
if you had been able to accept it
To door kabhi na jaate
then you would have never gone far away
Koi samjhe na peer parayee
no one understands the pain of others
Koi samjhe na peer parayee
no one understands the pain of others
Kisi se ab kya kehna
now what to say to anyone
If I remember right in the movie the first stanza typed above was sung when Kajol is imagining Rani Mukherkee having the god bharai ceremony when she was expecting the baby. God bharayee = customarily gifts put in the lap of the expectant mother in her 7th month of pregnancy to wish her and the baby good luck and for them to receive the blessings and protection of God. It is a different version of the baby showers performed here.
Madhu
Hey Madhu Thanks again, You are a Queen!!!
I didn’t saw KKHH so thanks for the comments about it.
Here in Chile I have no chance to see hindi movies. Except for Lagaan, of course. That by the way I love it so much!!
The Internet is my Bolly-screen.
Take care,
Romy.
